I moved my bike and the trainer upstairs. I’m up to 20 minutes, 3x a week. Well, at least I’m trying to get there. (I should say I had Dale move the bike and trainer upstairs.) It’s all a matter of changing my habits. If the bike is in my line of sight, I’ll be more likely to get on it. Right?
Dale also took me over to our friends’ house, the Collier’s, so I could try their Erg. I wasn’t on it very long, but my shoulders are sore. So one of today’s lessons was how to paddle correctly. Did you know there is a right and wrong way to paddle? This is going to be more than just a casual float trip down the river.
Today’s second lesson. We’re watching the 340Paddler on YouTube. The video is 340 Mistakes Part 1. Today’s lesson is simple: Listen to Scott. Even when you think he’s crazy, Listen to Scott Mansker.

P.S. Oh yeah, I forgot. Dale is making me a Peddle Paddle contraption. I’ll be able to peddle down the river instead of paddling the whole way. It’s kinda cool! He’s so smart.
