Sick Day

I hate getting sick.  I’ve gotten a cold and have been fighting it all week.  Which means no work.

But I’ve been trying to take advantage of the time.  I’m using it to study.  I’ve done more in the past 3 days than the past 3 weeks.

Dale suggested that I use my blog to write about my experiences.  My studies, my job search, all of it.  Hmm…. I guess I can do that, right?

I’ll have to go back to start from the beginning, but for right now, a little anecdote.  I was filling out a profile for a head hunting agency.  The question was, “What is the most interesting thing about you?”

UGH!  I dislike this question so very much.  So I asked on Facebook.  Within 2 minutes, I was told, I’m special because I turn bright red when embarrassed.

So, I’m asking you.  What is the most interesting thing about you?

Reasons I love Dale:

155.  He gives good back rubs.  He finds the knots in my shoulders and gets them out.
156.  He takes care of the messy stuff if I ask him.  Like plumbers.
157.  He likes to explain IT stuff.  I sure do need it right now.
158.  He loves our girls.
159.  He works hard.
160.  He loves music.
161.  He has an active imagination that just a few people get to see.
162.  He walks on his tiptoes.

That’s all I have for right now.

Hugs,
Melinda

P.S.  The picture in the header is of Dale’s hands when we went to breakfast the other day.

  1. I love the things you’re sharing about your husband. How special!! I don’t like that question either. I think it’s hard for us to see the good things, the “interesting” things about ourselves, isn’t it? For me, I don’t know. I used to have a 4 octave range when I sang. That was a long time ago. Very long time ago. 😉

    Merry Christmas, my friend!
