FMF – Here

Joining up with Kate for Five Minute Friday.  Today’s word is Here, and in honor of my trip with Christy for the retreat, I’m going to tell you about our trip to Nashville.

GO:

We are here.

Where here is, I’m not sure, But we’re here.

We got a flat tire.

Christy called AAA, but we didn’t know where we were.  No mile markers.  Nothing.  It took an hour and a half.

So we sat.  We examined the flora and the fauna.  We watched the buzzards circle.  We tried to change the tire ourselves.

Chris stopped and tried to help us.  Thanks Chris.

Once John from AAA got there and showed us how bad the tire was, we were glad to be HERE and not in the hospital.  It was crazy because I believe that God had us surrounded.

We are here.  We are together.  We are safe.  Here.

Thank you God for keeping us safe.

Thank you for keeping us safe so that we can say “Here am I Lord, Send me.”
