And again, I’m behind

You know, it’s hard work keeping up two blogs, teaching my children, and keeping the house in order.  I’m not complaining, just explaining.  If it seems like I’m not around as much as I should be, that’s probably the reason why.  With that, let’s see what I can be grateful for today.

February 3, 2015 – 3 gifts found in writing

  1. Invincible – A voice for my Elijah  103
  2. One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp – I’m not very far into it, but I’m blown away with what I have read.  104
  3. Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Apparently, I’m really into Sherlock.  How about a letter from a good friend?  Or a unexpected card?  105

February 4, 2015 – 3 gifts found when bent down

  1. Angel pennies  106
  2. Little bitty flowers  107
  3. Humility  108

February 5, 2015 – A gift stitched, hammered, woven

  1. Momma’s quilt  109
  2. Kevin’s help on the tree house  110
  3. Does crochet count as weaving?  If so, then the HUGE granny square afghan my mother made.  Or her teaching me to crochet.  111

February 6, 2015 – 3 gifts found outside

  1. Daffodils  112
  2. Birds in bushes  113
  3. Sunsets  114

February 7, 2015 – A gift at 11:30 am, 2:30 pm, 6:30 pm

  1. A lunch break from our studies  115
  2. Nap time. ; )  116
  3. Time with Dale after dinner  117

February 8, 2015 – A gift broken, fixed, thrifted

  1. All the glass plates  118
  2. Buddy’s fixes my car.  That’s a huge gift.  119
  3. All the hats  120

February 9, 2015 – 3 surprise gifts – unexpected grace!

  1. The fact that Little Bit loves watching birds as much I do.  121
  2. The extra money on the gift card that I was able to get my French Press with.  122
  3. Time alone.  Always a surprise.  Always a gift.  123

I think that’s all.  I hope you have a good night, and sleep well.  I’ll try to do better this week, but I’m not making any promises.  ; )

Hugs, Melinda
