Gratitude Overload

Well, not really.  But since the last time I posted was January 15, then I have almost 2 weeks worth of gratitude to catch up on.  So, it might feel like an overload.

January 16: 3 witnessed blessingsIMG_4723

  1. Jonah’s baptism  46
  2. Justice’s baptism   47
  3. Change of attitudes and hearts in kids at MWBC  48

January 17: A gift bringing laughter, prayer, quiet

  1. Spending time with Little Bit  49
  2. Illnesses  50
  3. Naptime  51

January 18: 3 Gifts from God’s Word

  1. Would it be weird to say that God’s Word is a gift?  I feel blessed every time I read it.  52
  2. A deeper understanding.  53
  3. The promise of Heaven  54

January 19: 3 gifts that might never have been

  1. Homeschooling  55
  2. Membership at East Independence Church of Christ  56
  3. Surprisingly, a major mistake in my life as become a gift.  57

January 20: 3 gifts only seen close up

  1. Eyes  58
  2. Fingerprints  59
  3. Baby snuggles  60

January 21: A gift in sky, water, memory

  1. Rainbows  61
  2. Feeding the alligators  62
  3. Daffodils  63

January 22: A gift wrinkled, smoothed, unfolded

  1. Warm blankets after a good night’s sleep  64
  2. A freshly made bed  65
  3. A soft fluffy towel  66

January 23: 3 gifts found in Christ

  1. Salvation  67
  2. Forgiveness  68
  3. Family  69

January 24: 3 things blueIMG_4611

  1. My eyes  70
  2. My car  71
  3. My jacket  72

January 25: A grace borrowed, found, inherited

  1. I don’t know that I can answer that.  I don’t normally borrow things.  Maybe the grace is that I let people borrow things and don’t expect them to return them.  73
  2. Letters from my parents.  74
  3. Grandma’s bird books  75

January 26: A gift before dawn, at noon, after dark

  1. Bird songs 76
  2. Recess (yes, homeschool moms take breaks too.)  77
  3. Stargazing  78

And that’s it for today.  That’s my overload of gifts today.  It’s taken me all day to write it, but I’ve done it.

Hugs, Melinda
