Grocery Bag Holder

Okay, my Works-For-Me Wednesday comes from a desire to control the plastic grocery bags that were overwhelming my house, and a lack of money to purchase anything to control them. I don’t even remember where I actually got the tip from, but I’m using it.

Take an empty Kleenex box, and put your grocery bags in it. It works just as well as those fancy holders that you can purchase. Pictures follow for your enjoyment. ๐Ÿ˜€ I use one in the kitchen and one near the diaper pail (for the extremely stinky ones).

This is what “Works For Me!” Check out Shannon’s for more tips.

  1. That is a fabulous idea for near the changing table. Not that I have a changing table anymore. Since most of my plastic bag usage is for cleaning up after the dog, and I don’t do it as often as I should, I would have to have a really BIG container. lol

  2. Brilliant! How come I never think of cool stuff like that? Off to find an empty tissue box. Which won’t be too hard. My 7 month old can empty a tissue box in 10 second flat. Thanks for the tip!

  3. Honestly, I didn’t come up with it. I just don’t remember where I got it from. Probably the same place I got using Pringles cans as a remote control holder. Pictures of that next week. ๐Ÿ˜‰Hugs,Melinda
